Let's get started on your website at Z.com! ③-2 Settings for adding a new WordPress server

Following the previous article, we are going to highlight the details of the settings for adding a new server .

This time, we will focus on "WordPress" server.

●1 Plan

1-1.Region：

Choose your preferred region for the datacenter from Tokyo, Singapore, or U.S.

If you are publishing your contents mainly for Southeastern-Asia, choose "Singapore" for more speedy connection.

1-2.Plan：

Default setting is "Basic." It can't be changed.

●2 WordPress

2-1.URL：

Enter sub-domain name for your WordPress website as you like.

At Z.com, sub domain is completely free.

The length can be 1 to 63 characters. Small alphabet characters, numbers, and hyphens (–),can be used.

If you want to use an unique domain, you can set up after you add a server.

2-2.User Name：

This is for WordPress admin page. Enter your user name as you like.

The length can be 5 to 20 characters. Alphabet characters, numbers, hyphens (–), and underscores (_)can be used.

2-3.Password：

The password needs to be combination of upper and lower case alphabet, numeric or punctuation characters, 9 to 70 letters.

*The available words： [a-zA-Z0-9] # $ % & ? " ' = + - _ { } [ ] ^ ~ : ; ( ) . , | * @　!

2-4.Re-enter Password：

Your password is important. Please re-enter to make sure the password you entered above is correct .

2-5.Email Address：

This e-mail address is registered as the one for the WordPress administrator user.

2-6.Language Settings：

Please select a language that you will use at WordPress from the following: English, Japanese, Chinese, Burmese, Thai, Indonesian.

●3 Option

3-1.Name Tag(Server)：

This is a server name to identify the server. The length can be 1 to 255 characters, and alphanumeric characters, hyphens (–), and underscores (_) can be used.

The default name is the date and time of the setting. It can be changed as you like.

3-2.Name Tag(WordPress)：

This is a Z.com’s original identifier name of the WordPress website. This name is different from the normal website name.

The default name is the date and time of the setting. It can be changed as you like.

3-3.Additional Disk：

Default disk space is 10GB. You can add more disk space for servers. The additional fee will be charged for added disk. （ 10GB 1.22 SGD / month ) You can add it later as well.

The prices for additional disk space is as follows:

・10GB：1.22 SGD

・20GB：2.44 SGD

・30GB：3.66 SGD

・40GB：4.88 SGD

・50GB：6.10 SGD

・90GB：10.98 SGD

3-4.Static IP Address：

The static IP address is offered as an option for an additional charge. You can add it later as well.

The price will differ from the region you selected at 1-1.

The price per 1 static IP address is as follows:

・Tokyo：4.27 SGD/mo

・U.S.：5.49 SGD/mo

・Singapore：5.49 SGD/mo

The price per a month will be displayed at the bottom of the page. Click "Add" to complete the settings.

Please note that the price displaying here will not be charged immediately.

If you use your server only for short time(e.g. a week, 16 days),

hourly rate fee（0.017 SGD/an hour） will be adopted automatically, and the total cost will be much smaller than that!

Adding to that, one of the Z.com WordPress's strength is clear flat-rate pricing.

If the number of visitors doesn't exceed over 30,000 people a month(which including the basic plan),

We will not charge any additional fee automatically.
